No problems, easy check in. Pretty much right next door to the train station, which was handy as i had a train to catch first thing. Room all good, clean, comfy bed, toilet and shower fine. Room was a bit hot, fan was provided and i left the window open so it cooled down at night. No complaints, and would use again if i am ever back in the area. I cant comment on the bar or the drinks, as did not use them, shame tho as it looked welcoming enough.

Wow what more can I day about the place, as staff were 1 in a million and an awesome place to stay of just have a beer/lager. Would highly recommend this place. As 3 x I have been here and everytime 5 stars and will be going here again in 2 weeks and again just after. 5 stars all the way

Brilliant place. Stayed in room 2. Lovely warm comfortable room. Friendly staff, owner is fantastic. Small mix up at check in which was totally our fault but he nothing but accommodating. Coming back next month. Hubby loved the big TV with netflix. Best stay we've had in a hotel.

Amazing People, Location, Room, Cask Ale, Bed, & More! The Vaults ideal location right at the old medieval city walls made for perfect access to the curiosities of Shrewsbury. Jason and the rest of the staff were welcoming, with a great sense of merriment and affability. I'd love to go back and stay there for a week or two, to just soak in the life of this ancient town. I really can't think of anything that could have been better. What more can a soul want than excellent cask ales, fine people, and the most charming outdoor beer garden? And the beer garden is three-tiered, no less!

This hotel and bar is situated in an ideal place for both Shrewsbury station and the town centre. The owner is very knowledgeable of the town and, like the staff here, very friendly. If you are looking for a cosy place to stay for a short period, look no further.

An absolute gem of a place, 3 times I've visited the place and 3 times no regrets, bar staff 1 in a million, and a lovely cosy lil pub. 2 mins away from train station. And will be definitely calling in there again soon before my trip back to south Wales ( Abertawe)
